چکیده

Replication technique, which is the major thrust research, has been much studied in peer to peer overlay networks for the past two decades. P2P network is a good elucidation for distributed computing than client-server model. The peers in P2P networks act as a client or a server or a router. Peer to peer applications are emerged as a powerful paradigm for content sharing across the world which cause more internet traffic. In order to decrease the internet traffic and search success of an enhanced query searching and data retrieval mechanism of our previous work [5], and to increase the data availability, reliability QOS aware dynamic replica replacement method with secured content distribution is proposed in this system. In this mechanism replace the old replica by new replica with the help of Least Recently Used (LRU) technique. Routing is performed hierarchically by broadcasting the query to the strong clusters. From the extensive simulations using NS2 simulator, the proposed system achieves reduced latency, reduced packet drop, and increased query efficiency.

Improve Replica Placement in Content Distribution Networks with Hybrid Technique

The increased using of the Internet and its accelerated growth leads to reduced network bandwidth and the capacity of servers; therefore, the quality of Internet services is unacceptable for users while the efficient and effective delivery of content on the web has an important role to play in improving performance. Content distribution networks were introduced to address this issue. Replicatin...

A QoS-Aware Intelligent Replica Management Architecture for Content Distribution in Peer-to-Peer Overlay Networks

The large scale content distribution systems were improved broadly using the replication techniques. The demanded contents can be brought closer to the clients by multiplying the source of information geographically, which in turn reduce both the access latency and the network traffic. The system scalability can be improved by distributing the load across multiple servers which is proposed by r...

Architecture of an intelligent Quality-of-Service aware Peer-to-Peer Multimedia Network

Peer-to-Peer networks have gained a lot of popularity in the past few years. Each participant offers own resources and occupies resources of other peers. This paper proposes an architecture for a P2P streaming network that considers structured data placement strategies of replicated multimedia content and QoS routing (RSVP). We consider point to point streaming within an autonomous system. So c...

Dynamic Replica Placement for Scalable Content Delivery

In this paper, we propose the dissemination tree, a dynamic content distribution system built on top of a peer-to-peer location service. We present a replica placement protocol that builds the tree while meeting QoS and server capacity constraints. The number of replicas as well as the delay and bandwidth consumption for update propagation are significantly reduced. Simulation results show that...

CPI: A Novel Three-Phase Algorithm for QoS-Aware Replica Placement Problem

QoS-aware replica placement decides how many replicas are needed and where to deploy them to meet every request from individual clients. In this paper, a novel three-phase algorithm, namely CPI, is proposed. By dividing candidate nodes into proper medium-scale partitions, CPI is capable to handle with large-scale QoS-aware replica placement problem. Pharos-based clustering algorithm obtains ide...
